Head of Client Services & Operations
Jennifer McCarthy
Raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada, Jennifer McCarthy has built a remarkable career showcasing her dedication and leadership in the Cayman Islands. After moving to Cayman in 1997, she honed her skills as Head of Operations at Cayman HospiceCare (now Jasmine) before being recruited by the developer of Health City Cayman Islands. Since the inception of TechCayman, Jennifer has played a crucial role in shaping client services and operations. Her dedication to educational outreach and community initiatives underscores her commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the thriving tech ecosystem in the Cayman Islands for future generations.
Sr. Manager, Client Services & Education
Richard Parchment
Richard Parchment, a proud generational Caymanian, has been a key member of TechCayman since its founding. With experience as the Educational Programme Coordinator at Health City Cayman Islands and as Senior Advisor to the Premier, he brings invaluable expertise in both education and government. Richard serves as the primary liaison with various government agencies and supports the Client Services and Education arms of TechCayman, ensuring smooth operations. Passionate about the Cayman Islands, he appreciates its vibrant ocean life and exceptional tech infrastructure, making it an ideal place to live and work.
Sr. Manager, Business Development
Sara Marino Ellis
Originally from Canada, Sara Marino Ellis relocated to the Cayman Islands in 2018 and joined TechCayman in May 2024, bringing extensive experience in marketing and business development. Her career has spanned brand marketing for leading global brands and products as well as business development at a prominent Cayman Islands law firm. As Senior Manager of Business Development, Sara focuses on driving growth in emerging sectors like Web 3.0 while building connections with innovators to strengthen Cayman’s tech landscape. An active community member, she enjoys playing pickleball, flag football, Gaelic football and exploring the island’s diverse culinary offerings.
Education Manager
Philip Liu
Philip Liu’s journey in technology began at Harvard University, where he studied Computer Science and created his first websites in his dorm room. His career has spanned enterprise software and high-frequency trading systems, ultimately leading him to TechCayman, where he spearheads educational initiatives. Phil oversees programmes like TechCayman robotics camps, hackerspace and in-school programming workshops, inspiring the next generation of tech talent in Cayman’s evolving ecosystem. In his free time, he enjoys freediving and rock climbing, embracing the adventurous spirit of island life.
Client Services Associate
Dru Bodden
Dru Bodden, born and raised in Breakers, Grand Cayman, returned home after earning her associate degree in Orlando to join the TechCayman team in 2022. Her deep local roots and commitment to the community are central to her role, where she manages client work permit applications, supports relocation and coordinates educational outreach programmes. Dru thrives on client satisfaction and values the positive feedback she receives. She loves the natural beauty of the Cayman Islands, cherishing its crystal-clear beaches and warm, close-knit community.
Legal Consultant, Fifty Eleven
Sabrina Foster
Sabrina Foster serves as a legal consultant to TechCayman, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the Cayman Islands’ regulatory landscape. Her experience encompasses corporate and commercial law, alternative investment funds, trust structuring, financing, conveyancing, and regulatory matters. Her comprehensive understanding of both commercial law and financial frameworks makes her a valuable resource for navigating the complexities of Cayman’s business environment. Outside the office, Sabrina is passionate about health and fitness and maintains a plant-based lifestyle.
Marketing Coordinator
Katie Merren
A native of Grand Cayman, Katie Merren has been with TechCayman since 2021, bringing her MBA and expertise in social media management and content creation to her role as Marketing Coordinator. She is passionate about promoting TechCayman Education’s programmes, like the Robotics Camps and Hackerspace, which inspire young Caymanians to pursue careers in technology. Outside of work, Katie enjoys the island’s warm weather and cherishing time with family and friends.
