Our Legacy
Transforming the Cayman Islands into a premier tech hub.
Driven by a deep commitment to supporting Cayman and fellow innovators, our founders set out to create a platform that fosters innovation and technological growth in the Cayman Islands. This vision has guided us through key achievements that continue to shape the tech landscape. Founded in 2018, TechCayman emerged from the groundbreaking work on the Health City Cayman Islands project. During this initiative, we uncovered a significant opportunity to collaborate with the Cayman Islands Government and key service providers to help advance the technology and intellectual property sectors in Cayman.
1. Modernising intellectual property.
We actively contributed to the enhancement of Cayman’s IP laws, working alongside key stakeholders on initiatives such as the Patents and Trademarks (Amendment) Law and the Copyright (Cayman Islands) Order. These efforts have helped position the islands as a global leader in IP protection.
2. Empowering future innovators.
Education is fundamental to our mission, underscoring our dedication to nurturing the next generation of technology leaders in the Cayman Islands. By offering complimentary robotics and coding programmes and supporting local educators, we cultivate a skilled workforce poised to drive the future of our community
3. Supporting Health City Cayman Islands.
Our founders were integral to the development of Health City Cayman Islands, positioning the islands as a premier destination for medical tourism and attracting patients and healthcare professionals from around the world.
